Maidstone Conference Venue
|
The Stone Court Hotel is situated on Maidstone’s Lower Stone Street which is right in the heart of the city centre and is conveniently placed to allow access via air, rail and motorway links, making it an ideal place for any Maidstone conference or, being the county town, for any Kent conference.
Apart from being a tastefully and beautifully maintained 16th century Tudor building with every modern amenity and a complement of highly efficient and friendly staff, the Hotel has two large and versatile function rooms, each adaptable to a variety of conference styles and layouts. Both function rooms are situated on the ground floor and have the potential to be directly extended into a large marquee in the hotel’s courtyard, allowing for greater versatility and numbers.

Lincoln's Inn is the slightly larger of the two function rooms and can easily seat 80 delegates in a theatre style conference, or 36 in the typical boardroom style, or 30 in the U-Shape layout. Gray's Inn, the second function room, is only slightly smaller and will contain about 70 delegates in a theatre style conference and only six fewer people than Lincoln's Inn when utilizing either of the other two layouts. Both Lincoln's Inn and Gray's Inn have disabled access.
Able to accommodate the various timing and menu needs of your conference, the hotel’s highly reputable Chambers Restaurant will approach any catering with the same attention to culinary delight and inventiveness which has made it one of Maidstone’s prized eateries.
|
The lounge in Judges Bar provides an additional venue for either a deserved drink to round off the day’s business or for those smaller meetings which are inevitably part of any large conference. Since there is wireless internet access throughout the hotel, no convenience need be sacrificed wherever you should choose to meet.
Of course, a day off may be a luxury and to make the most of it the area around Maidstone is full of many leisure activities, including a number of world-class golf courses situated in the picturesque Kent countryside.
